With a strong foundation in hotel management and human resource management, combined with advanced qualifications in tourism, English literature, and business administration, this professional has excelled as a lecturer, mentor, author, and principal at leading institutes. Recognised for academic excellence as a Gold Medallist in Human Resource Management and currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Hotel and Tourism Management, they bring a unique combination of academic depth, industry insight, and leadership capability.

Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh is an alumnus of IHM Pusa. He has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Hotel & Tourism Management He hold’s masters degree in Tourism Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. He is UGC NET qualified and is a Certified Learning Facilitator. He has also gone through Direct Training Skills (DTS). He possesses a combined experience of 17 years including Industry & teaching which includes working with Taj Group & IHM Pusa. He has several research papers published in reputed national and international journals. He has also contributed chapters for Hospitality curriculum in UGC’s E- Pathshala module. At present, he is looking after the Food Production department with additional tasks like Academic Incharge, SPIO, Hostel Warden, and Exam Superintendent for the Institute.

DR. SHWETA KUMAR
Dr. Shweta Kumar Gopal is a distinguished academician and hospitality expert, bringing over 17 years of rich experience in the industry, academia, and administration. An alumnus of the prestigious School of Hotel Management, Jaipur, she holds a Doctorate in Tourism and Hospitality Services Management, a Master’s Degree in Hotel Management, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. She is a certified Master Trainer accredited by the Government of Singapore, holds a Diploma in Training and Development from ISTD, and is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). A passionate educator and thoughtful leader, she has authored the book ‘Housekeeping for All’ and specialises in Room Division Management. Her professional journey includes a distinguished tenure as Assistant Manager at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, where she gained invaluable industry experience. Transitioning into academia, she has dedicated 12 years to training and teaching, along with two years in administrative leadership as Principal (i/c) of IHM Faridabad. She has also served as Senior Instructor at IHM Faridabad and Assistant Instructor at IHM Kurukshetra, shaping the next generation of hospitality professionals. She has an impressive track record of publications and research contributions. She has successfully spearheaded various government initiatives, skill development programs, and training and placement activities, making a significant impact on the hospitality education landscape.
